Shortly after 10pm, the end of the 61st Fishing Pier in Galveston broke off and drifted away after being battered by high surf due to Tropical Storm Beta. It eventually washed back on shore around 63rd Street. Please, do not go out and adventure tonight as conditions will only continue to deterioate and flooding is hard to spot at night.
