November 26, 1984: On this day 40 years ago, the Miami Dolphins defeated the New York Jets 28-17 in front of 74,844 fans on a Monday night at the Orange Bowl. Miami tight end Bruce Hardy catches a 12 yard touchdown pass from Dan Marino. It was Marino's 36th touchdown pass of the season, tying Y.A. Tittle's then NFL record.
