Once a familiar sight, marching at the Braemar Gathering, the Duff Highlanders have re-formed and marched again at the 2025 Braemar Gathering Highland Games on Saturday 6th September 2025. An old tradition of Friendly Society ‘Highlander’ groups is resurging, with the Invercauld Highlanders reintroduced a few year ago and now the joined by the Duff Highlanders of Braemar. This initiative wil contribute to the traditions and events of greater Braemar / Upper Deeside in Scotland. #braemargathering

After a wonderful evening in the Braemar Highland Games Pavilion for the start of Braemar's Festival de Noël 2022, we emerged after midnight to find arctic weather bringing heavy snowfall over the village.
