The Sand Ridge Nature Center located in South Holland is one of my favorite places to take the families & kids I work with. It’s so peaceful and they have a few reptiles and animals there for your viewing. I always see chipmunks and deer running nearby, as well. In the summer the trail is filled with beautiful flowers and there’s a lake, as well.
