During the second phase of Taylor Schabusiness’ murder trial, the state told jurors that her drug use does not mean she was insane at the time of the crime. “Her drug use does not equate to mental illness,” prosecutor Caleb Saunders explained. The mother of Shad Thyrion was horrified when she discovered the head of her son in a bucket at the bloody crime scene in her basement in February 2022. All leads pointed to the woman he was with that night, Taylor Schabusiness.
