An attempted carjacking escalated to a police shooting over the weekend. Police say it started Sunday afternoon at an apartment complex near Decatur and Flamingo. Police say a suspect identified through booking records as Wade Griffith was allegedly trying to carjack someone and threatening them with a knife.
