A 26-year-old man has been arrested and accused of sex trafficking in Sacramento County. On February 18, 2025 deputies responded to an assault call near the Ramada Inn near Auburn Boulevard and Fulton Avenue. Upon arrival deputies discovered the victim was a 17-year-old being trafficked for sex.

A Sacramento County sheriff’s deputy was arrested Sunday in Citrus Heights on suspicion of driving under the influence and resisting arrest, authorities said. Kevin Lloyd, 36, was arrested about 4:30 p.m. in the 8200 block of Mariposa Avenue. He also faces a third charge of loitering, according to the Citrus Heights Police Department.
