Richard Osman defends unexpected Thursday Murder Club casting of Pierce Brosnan as Ron
After much anticipation, it was revealed in April 2024 that Brosnan, Ben Kingsley and Helen Mirren had been cast as Ron Ritchie, Ibrahim Arif and Elizabeth Best respectively. The quartet was completed a month later, with Celia Imrie cast as Joyce Meadowcroft.
