Tennessee has sent 160 National Guard troops to Washington, D.C., as President Donald Trump and the White House continue to push their crime fighting directive.

West Virginia National Guard troops have begun to arrive in Washington, DC, to assist with President Donald Trump’s crime crackdown in the nation’s capital, a defense official told CNN on Tuesday.

The number of troops in the city is expected to grow. But Army officials appear to be trying to keep them on the sidelines of President Trump’s mission.
