PORTHCAWL, Wales — On a blustery day in south Wales, it was Japanese rookie Miyu Yamashita who hoisted the AIG Women’s Open trophy, winning by two shots over Charley Hull and Minami Katsu.

Cameron Young finally got his first PGA Tour victory Sunday after seven runner-up finishes, and he made it look easy. Young followed those five straight birdies with nine straight pars, a pair of meaningless bogeys toward the end only cost him a chance at the tournament scoring record.
