Police declared all of downtown Los Angeles to be an unlawful assembly area and ordered protesters to go home on Sunday night after a third day of violence hit demonstrations against President Donald Trump's immigration policy.

President Donald Trump showed little interest in de-escalating the situation in Los Angeles on Sunday evening as he fired off a charged post calling on administration officials to “liberate” the city from what he called a “Migrant Invasion.
