Hundreds attended a Unity Park protest organized by local progressive groups as part of a national day of action to honor the late John Lewis

The gatherings invoked the Civil Rights leader’s memory while offering another venue for groups protesting the Trump administration this year.

Naples was one city among thousands across the U.S. to participate in the Good Trouble Lives On protest. The march promotes peaceful action.

Activists across the North Bay are taking to the streets Thursday to, again, join nationwide and international protests against the Trump administration — this time in the name of the late civil rights leader and former Georgia Congressman John Lewis.
