Missouri regulators have awarded the state’s two untethered mobile sports betting licenses to DraftKings and Circa Sports, positioning the operators to launch in one of the last major U.S. markets still closed to online wagering.

Circa Sports runs sports betting in Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Colorado and Nevada, through its app and locations in casinos. The company is known for its high-dollar NFL gambling competitions. They cost $1,000 to enter for the whole season and have guaranteed payouts up to $15 million.

The Missouri Gaming Commission awarded sports wagering licenses to DraftKings and Circa Hospitality on Friday as the state moves toward launching legalized sports betting in December.
