It’s impossible for White Sox general manager Chris Getz to forecast an exact win total for his 2025 team. That task would be pretty tough to do even for a group such as the Dodgers, who feature Major League Baseball’s top roster on paper and in person.

The Chicago White Sox lost the most games in AL/NL history in 2024. In a full rebuilding year, they lost an astounding 121 games, narrowly beating the previous record of 120 by the 1962 New York Mets.

The White Sox's holdover veterans need to elevate their production to help avoid a third consecutive 100-loss season. Andrew Benintendi's finish to '24 is a good start.
