One NFL analyst suggests the Washington Commanders should trade Jonathan Allen to the Arizona Cardinals for two draft picks.

The Washington Commanders made waves on Saturday with the trade for San Francisco 49ers star Deebo Samuel. And from the looks of it, they nearly had Jonathan Allen be part of the deal. The Commanders landed the star receiver from the 49ers in exchange for a fifth-round pick.

Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports that the 49ers and Commanders discussed the possibility of including DT Jonathan Allen in the trade that ultimately sent WR Deebo Samuel to Washington. However, the two sides ultimately decided to not include Allen in the trade.
