A SpaceX Falcon 9 launched a batch of Starlink internet satellites into Earth orbit on Sunday night (Mar. 2), but the rocket's booster toppled over after landing.

SpaceX on Sunday night launched a Falcon 9 rocket with 21 Starlink satellites into space from Florida's coast.

SpaceX had a Falcon 9 launch of 21 Starlink satellites from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The launch included 13 satellites with Direct to Cell capabilities. This was the fifth flight for the first stage of this mission.

The Federal Aviation Administration is considering awarding Musk’s SpaceX a contract to provide Starlink internet service for its air traffic control communications network, possibly replacing a deal with Verizon, which was awarded a contract for the FAA’s internet technology in 2023, according to multiple reports.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is reportedly pressurizing its staff to secure millions in funding to help the Starlink deal that is currently underway, amid reports that the FAA may be considering canceling its deal with Verizon.
