LONDON (AP) — A Chinese PhD student was found guilty Wednesday in a London court of drugging and raping 10 women in England and China, as police warned there could be more than 50 other victims.

A Chinese student was found guilty by a London court on Wednesday of drugging and raping 10 women in Britain and China, with British detectives saying they suspected that as many as 50 other women might have been attacked by him.

The police have only been able to identify two of the women and warned more than 50 others may have fallen victim.

After a month-long trial, Zhenhao Zou, who was most recently living in Elephant and Castle, south-east London, was found guilty of raping three women in London and another seven in China between September 2019 and May 2023.
