Trying to reach home plate after a sacrifice fly from Aaron Judge, Yankees utility man Oswaldo Cabrera dodged a tag, planted his foot to change direction and suffered an ankle injury that saw him carted off the field and taken to a nearby hospital.
New Yankees radio announcer Dave Sims is already drawing some criticism. The Yankees began a West Coast stretch last Friday in Sacramento against the A’s, but Sims flew straight to Seattle, where the Yankees would later meet him for their series against the Mariners.
