Dow Jones futures rose modestly Sunday evening, along with S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq futures. The U.S. and European Union reached a trade deal Sunday while a China trade truce reportedly will be extended.

The electric carmaker appears to be both-sides-ing its impending launch, telling regulators it will have human drivers on board while touting the project as ‘robotaxis’ to investors.

Tesla has also yet to prove that its Full Self-Driving software can be used to power a robotaxi network. While the company has been running an invite-only version of its robotaxi service in Austin since June 22, it’s been a far cry from what Musk has spent years teasing.
