Gov. Abbott has released details of the National Guard and DPS deployment after Texas lawmakers demanded a briefing for the sake of coordination.

Greg Abbott said he would deploy the National Guard across parts of the state as anti-ICE protests that have gripped Los Angeles since Friday spread across the country.

As protests continue in the U.S. over immigration enforcement raids, Abbott says he will deploy the state's National Guard as needed.
