Nvidia stock was falling as Advanced Micro Devices gained. One analyst says the reigning chip leader will soon face a bigger challenge from AMD.

In an unusual move, two of the world's largest chipmakers have reportedly agreed to hand over some of their revenues to secure export licenses.

The U.S. government has given artificial intelligence giants Nvidia and AMD the green light to sell some chips to China in exchange for a 15% cut of the revenue. Technology journalist Jacob Ward joins CBS News to dig into the deal and some of the other top AI stories.
