A world-renowned telecommunications giant has been chosen to deliver a new subsea cable system for Europe and North Africa.

Two energy giants, Hitachi Energy and E.ON, have signed a deal worth £525 million to upgrade Germany's grid in a bid to bolster security and resilience.
