Rory McIlroy reiterated on Sunday after an encouraging closing 67 at Oakmont Country Club that his mental head space still isn’t quite right. But he knows just where that might finally change, and it isn’t likely to be at the upcoming Travelers Championship.

It's been well-documented that Rory McIlroy had a rather frustrating week at Oakmont, and he has let that frustration boil up on several occasions.

The Masters champion shot a 3-under 67 Sunday, his low score of the week, and led the field in driving when he finished.
