Actor Eric Mabius, who starred in the hit ABC series "Ugly Betty" and several Hallmark movies, was arrested early Thursday morning in Florida's Nassau County.

The actor was arrested in Nassau County after allegedly spitting on patrons and attacking a woman at a Yulee bar before resisting deputies.

Eric Mabius was arrested on Feb. 20 by the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office in Florida. According to People, the central Pennsylvania native faces misdemeanor charges of battery and resisting arrest without violence.

The Hallmark actor was allegedly "extremely intoxicated" prior to his arrest and "got on top of" a woman and "ripp[ed] a handful of hair from her scalp," according to court documents

He also starred as Oliver O’Toole in Hallmark Channel’s Signed, Sealed, Delivered, as well as the subsequent film franchise.
