Registration is open for Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Plus training for classes in April and May.

How it works SkillSpring is divided into two main programs — a 12-week hands-on training for young adults, and a three-year after-school program that provides CNA training to high school students.

The CNA portion of the Patient Care Technician (PCT) program will be held at the VNA/Candlewood and additional PCT course sections will be offered at NVCC’s Danbury Campus.

The five-week program will allow participants to earn their CNA certificate while working as a temporary employee of Southwell Health and Rehabilitation.
