WASHINGTON — Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., slammed the Trump administration’s capture of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro, saying on NBC News’ “Meet the Press” Sunday that the operation was part of “the same Washington playbook that we are so sick and tired of that doesn’t serve the American people.”
Several months before her online suspension, Greene faced backlash for comparing then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s decision to continue requiring masks on the House floor to the Nazis’ persecution of Jewish people during the Holocaust.
Today marks anti-trans Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) final day in Congress after her very public falling out with the president. But before stepping down, she threw a few more jabs at him while appearing on Meet the Press over the weekend.
