A 7.6 magnitude earthquake triggered 10 ft high tsunami warnings for across the northeastern coast of Japan on Monday, the country's meteorological agency said.

A three-metre high tsunami is possible after a magnitude 7.2 earthquake off Japan's northern coast, the Japan Meteorological Agency said Monday.

The National Weather Service says that snow might come to the Triangle on Monday but there will likely be little accumulation.
