A tropical rainstorm, also designated as Invest 93L by the National Hurricane Center, formed on the Atlantic coast of Florida on Monday afternoon and was already bringing tropical rainfall across central and southern Florida.

While keeping an eye on the tropics, as hurricane season warms up, an offshore disturbance on the east coast of Florida is forecasted to produce heavy rainfall, which could lead to localized flash flooding over portions of Florida and the north-central Gulf Coast through the middle to latter portion of this week.
