Riding a six-game winning streak, the Denver Nuggets hosted the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday. Denver stormed out to a 15-point halftime lead, putting themselves in a good position to pick up their seventh consecutive victory.

Of course, Nikola Jokić has led the way for Denver as the superstar center is once again in the MVP race. On Monday, the NBA announced that Jokić was named Western Conference Player of the Week for games played from Monday, Feb. 3 to Sunday, Feb. 9.

The Nuggets got scoring contributions up and down their bench, shooting 65.9% in their seventh consecutive win to stay hot in pursuit of Memphis for second in the Western Conference.
