National build-your-own sandwich restaurant, Subway, has continued its partnership with Netflix's "Happy Gilmore 2" with the debut of the " Happy Place" pop-up planned for Aug. 8 in Southern California.

Subway announced on Thursday, July 31, that it will transform one of its restaurants into the "happy place" from the 'Happy Gilmore' movies.

I gotta tell you, as someone whose favorite Adam Sandler movie is Uncut Gems, I did not expect to enjoy Happy Gilmore 2 as much as I did. While watching the sequel, in which he reprises the title role of an unlikely golfing champ, with my Netflix subscription, there was rarely a time I was not laughing.

As you may know, Happy Gilmore 2 finally hit our screens last week, and it is jam-packed with celebrity cameos — in fact, Screen Rant estimated that there are at least 72 surprise appearances in the movie’s 114-minute runtime.

Swifties are known for their sleuthing, and this time they’re headed to the PGA Tour. Taylor Swift fans are convinced the country-turned-pop icon made a secret cameo in Happy Gilmore 2, Netflix’s sequel to Adam Sandler’s 1996 golf comedy.
