Former teammates give their thoughts on VanVleet being elected by his NBA peers to lead the players union as its new president.

The NBA players have a new union president. At the annual summer meeting of the Board of Player Representatives, Fred VanVleet was elected President of the National Basketball Players Association. VanVleet succeeds former Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum who finished a four-year term in that office.
