Purdue has reclaimed the No. 1 spot in the AP Top 25 men's college basketball poll, while multiple teams make it into the top 10.

UConn, Arizona and Duke also got No. 1 votes from the 61-member media panel in a poll that also saw No. 6 Louisville and No. 8 Illinois jump into the top 10.

North Texas is in The Associated Press college football poll for the first time since 1959. The Mean Green are No. 22 with a 9-1 record.

Taking preseason bias out, Gonzaga has performed better than any team in college basketball thus far, according to Bart Torvik. The last three wins have come against high-major competition — Oklahoma, Creighton and Arizona State — and Gonzaga has outscored those three by 25 points per 100 possessions.
