At UFC 238, Henry Cejudo moved up to the bantamweight division in order to challenge for the vacant title that had been left behind by TJ Dillashaw.

Cejudo holds notable MMA wins over TJ Dillashaw, Demetrious Johnson and Marlon Moraes. He retired in 2020 after a win over Dominick Cruz in 2020, then returned in 2023 to fight in UFC 288.

Cejudo won his first UFC title by defeating Demetrious Johnson at UFC 227 in 2018 and defended it against T.J. Dillashaw.

He successfully defended that title with a knockout of T.J. Dillashaw at UFC Fight Night: Cejudo vs. Dillashaw on Jan. 19, 2019. He later vacated his title to move to the bantamweight division.
