‘Saturday Night Live’: Finn Wolfhard, Teyana Taylor, Alexander Skarsgard Debut as Hosts in January
To kick off 2026, SNL will welcome three first-time hosts. Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard will host the Jan. 17 show, where A$AP Rocky will be the musical guest. One Battle After Another star Teyana Taylor will host on Jan. 24 with musical guest Geese, and Alexander Skarsgard will serve as host on Jan. 31, joined by musical guest Cardi B.

Bowen Yang has finally explained why he bowed out of “Saturday Night Live.” On Wednesday’s episode of his podcast “Las Culturistas,” which he co-hosts with his friend, comedian Matt Rogers, the “Wicked” actor got frank about his surprising exit from the long-running sketch show after seven seasons.

The former 'Saturday Night Live' comedian said he won’t “snitch” on who also abused prescription pills on the NBC sketch comedy show's set while discussing dating Kenan Thompson’s ex-wife, Christina Evangeline.
Regarding the final sketch where he played a Delta One employee working his last shift, Yang said he cried during the table read the Wednesday prior and admitted that it was “completely self-indulgent” to be able to have the character say goodbye – something other former cast members didn’t get.
