Pet Supplies Plus in Milford celebrated its first birthday and seventh in dog years, and invited pet lovers to a weekend-long “Bark Party” celebration.

The pet supplies store chain, which originally launched in Redford and now has hundreds of stores, has been sold in a deal worth $700 million.
