The Minecraft team at Microsoft has partnered with Seattle area schools and educators to create the new Hour of Code tutorial and features in Minecraft: Education Edition.

During the #MicrosoftEDU press event, Microsoft introduced Code Builder for Minecraft: Education Edition that's available now as a beta.

Microsoft is joining hands with Code.org to bring Minecraft to a major coding event next month.

The latest new feature in Minecraft: Education Edition makes it possible for students to learn how to code while playing the game.
