The wife of Trump's deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller posted a photo implying a U.S. takeover of Greenland, hours after the U.S. attacks on Venezuela.

The prime minister of Denmark called on Trump to “stop the threats” of the U.S. annexing Greenland after renewed comments garnered international attention.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen issued a pointed warning to President Donald Trump about his threats to annex Greenland, following the U.S. abduction of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, over the weekend.

Katie Miller, the wife of President Trump's deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, posted an image of Greenland covered by the U.S. flag on X.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer reiterated his position on Greenland during a call with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen on Thursday, a Downing Street spokeswoman said.

Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said President Trump’s threats “should be taken seriously” and warned against action to annex the semiautonomous Danish territory.

Helle Thorning-Schmidt told Sky News that Denmark is being "bullied by a bigger nation... like in the schoolyard".

US secretary of state Marco Rubio will meet his Danish and Greenlandic counterparts Lars Løkke Rasmussen and Vivian Motzfeldt next week for the first substantive three-way meeting since President Donald Trump first expressed his desire to buy the vast Arctic island.
