Anthropic appears to have accidentally revealed the inner workings of one of its most popular and lucrative AI products, the agentic AI harness Claude Code, to the public.

A routine software update for Anthropic's Claude Code tool accidentally leaked its entire source code, sparking rapid community response.

Anthropic confirmed the leak, stating "no sensitive customer data or credentials were involved or exposed", and said it was a release packaging issue caused by human error, not a security breach.
