Police are monitoring the situation at a Chatsworth train station, south of Durban following protest action there earlier this morning. Officers were called to the Chatsglen area at about 5am.

The protesters raised concerns that undocumented nationals were in the area. They called on police to assist them in ensuring the undocumented nationals leave.

Thousands of immigrants were forced to flee from informal settlements and sought refuge at the Shallcross Stadium last week.
