Carter, who’s dealt with chronic back issues since his professional career began, has overhauled his routine with hyperbaric chambers, cryotherapy, IV’s and needling to relieve pain in his back. He played in five of Round Rock’s last six games before his callup and said he “feels great right now.”

Evan Carter has been recalled by the Texas Rangers from Triple-A Round Rock. The outfielder had been there all this season after being hurt most of last year following his impressive debut late in the run to their only World Series title in 2023.
