SNK has just dropped a lot of new info about Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, including its eighth playable character Kain, and the season one DLC pass. It also reminded folks of its open beta period later this month.

It’s a great week for fighting game fans, and especially fans of SNK, as Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves finally kicks off its first open beta. It’s the first chance many players have had to throw down in SNK’s new mainline fighting game, and we’re going to be jumping into the action as well with a special ShackStream to celebrate.

The open beta, which begins five days from now, is significant. With it, you can explore City of the Wolves' rich mechanics in online ranked, casual, and room matches. It will include four stages (Training, Freight Express, B. Port, and Training Ground) and the following eight characters:
