Friday was the last day for Station Square's Hard Rock Cafe, and while there are a lot of empty buildings, many see the chance for revitalization.

Friday was the last day for the Hard Rock Cafe in Station Square and while it joins a long list of closed businesses in the area, many still see the area as an opportunity for growth and revitalization.

The Station Square staple of more than 20 years said late last year it would shut down at the end of its lease in February. Hard Rock Cafe’s departure comes just a few months after Buca Di Beppo and Joe’s Crab Shack both closed.
