Chevrolet's Blazer EV.R NASCAR prototype, boasting 1,300+ horsepower, is a cutting-edge electric car with plenty of performance.

Like the Ford, and like NASCAR's unbranded prototype, the three-motor setup makes the Blazer EV.R all-wheel drive. Those motors draw from a 78-kWh liquid-cooled battery, which is stored inside a modified Next Gen chassis. The car's suspension is also taken from that car, another common feature with the other two demonstrators.

Earlier today at Daytona International Speedway, Chevrolet debuted its Blazer EV NASCAR Prototype with a modified Next Gen chassis. These will not be used in an actual racing series as of right now, but are used for testing.

The silent SS will bring a roaring herd of NASCAR V-8s to the green flag at Daytona. Chevy will also unveil an electric NASCAR at the event.
