CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cleveland Cavaliers took Game 3 of their Eastern Conference Semifinal matchup against the Indiana Pacers on the road. A big loss in Game 4, however, brings the series back to Cleveland with the Cavs on the brink of elimination trailing 3-1 in the series.
Tyrese Haliburton scored 31 points, hitting six 3-pointers and dishing out eight assists to lead the Pacers to a 114-105 win over the Cavs in Game 5.
Perhaps the most critical coaching decision of the series was made in the second quarter of Game 3, as the Cavs switched to a 3-2 zone.
"They all touched the ball," Cavaliers coach Kenny Atkinson told reporters after practice Thursday. "They all got some reps up. But we didn't do anything live. They kind of participated in the walkthrough. Hoping for the best."
