A man suspected of stealing his murder victim’s ID and faking a fatal bear attack in Tennessee has been arrested in South Carolina, authorities said Monday.

The suspect was taken into custody, ending a multistate manhunt in a case involving a suspicious emergency call, a false identity and a fake bear attack.
