With over 1,000 killed near aid sites and 81 children dead from hunger, Gaza faces a man-made humanitarian collapse

Over 113 in Gaza have died from famine and malnutrition amid war, siege, and collapsing humanitarian aid routes.

The IDF said in a statement that it was taking several actions, including dropping "seven pallets of aid containing flour, sugar, and canned food" at the behest of the Israeli government to "refute the false claim of deliberate starvation in the Gaza Strip."

At least 61 people were killed this weekend, including some who were waiting in line for aid, “a number of starving children” and a group recovered in Khan Younis, according to a spokesperson for Gaza’s Health Ministry.

Supplies of Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food, a crucial treatment, would be depleted by mid-August if nothing changed.
